Explore the countryside today
Enjoy the country setting where throughout the faming year you may see fields of wheat, beef or diary cattle. The River Dever winds down the valley to the river Test popular for trout fishing. Micheldever wood is carpeted with bluebells and primroses in the spring. The woodland is open to the public, with well-defined tracks for walkers and cyclists. Local farmers are working with the RSBP to help rare curlews. Buzzards and red kites are seen in increasing numbers. The area is also blessed with many welcoming pubs.
There are many public footpaths in the area, with a footpath leading from the site along the valley to the delightful village of Stoke Charity.
Rivermead is a Caravan & Camping Club Certified Site and is only open to Club Members.
